The Zambelli palace

Via Zambelli, 22

The palace has seventeenth-century origins and it is the current seat of the Public Library of Lonato, rich of more than 30.000 modern books to public reading and to loan.
Remarkable is the gallery of the mirrors with their frames in polychrome plasters.
Two rooms in the noble floor have allegorical decorations with frescos made at the beginning of the XVIII century by Alessandro Campi, the most important apprentice of the Venetian painter Andrea Celesti.
