The railroad station

Via Borgo Clio

The building of the railroad station is one of the province of Brescia that has still today an aspect similar to the original one of the Austrian period, when it was built.
This station (1849-1850), on the line of the Ferrovia Ferdinandea, is characterized by a façade with a tympanum supported by strong doric columns, and its entrance to the town is refined by an elegant semicircular staircase and little green areas.
Despite the stops are not frequent, if you arrive with the train you will reach the centre walking through a suggestive tour in the alleys of the town.
